Reward trips celebrate swimmers’ hard work and success

After an outstanding season for our club, we treated our swimmers of all ages to an action-packed day of fun and camaraderie.

The rewards celebrations on 1st September saw our younger squads hit the inflatables at Jump Inc in Beverley, followed by a team dinner.

Meanwhile, our older swimmers enjoyed a day at the lakes of North Yorkshire Water Park near Scarborough, with paddle boarding, ziplining and the formidable Wipeout floating adventure course.

Jo Kitney, who with Louise Coulter meticulously organised the two outings, said: ‘The two rewards celebrations recognised the hard work and dedication that our swimmers have put into their training and competitions throughout the year.

‘There was lots of fun and laughter, and I’m sure our swimmers, coaches and parents made some great memories!’

Huge thanks go to Louise and Jo, the coaches, the parent volunteers who got stuck in, and everyone who helped to make the rewards a roaring success.
