This is the top job in the swimming officials list. It requires excellent knowledge of the rules and being able to manage a pool, hundreds of swimmers and officials of all levels. Can referee all swimming levels.(1 to 4)

Standing just below referee level the J2S level allows these officials to Referee level 4 meets and start Level 3,2,1 meets. This is an enhanced qualification above the Level 2 Judge.
Judge Level 2 (J2)

Level 2 judge have full knowledge of starts , turns and each stroke as well as relay starts and takeovers. They are normally found on the end or sides of the pool.

The first qualification at Judge level. Able to work on instruction from Level 2 and have reasonable knowledge of correct finishes , turns and strokes.
